Wedding accommodation
We are able to accommodate 47 people overnight as part of our wedding package.
10 people including the bride and groom can sleep in our charming Historic House accommodation and a further 8 bedrooms provide simple accommodation for 37 guests.
Historic House accommodation
Spacious and comfortable accommodation for up to 10 people including the bride and groom is available in the historic Springhead House. This listed building is made up of a range of thatched cottages dating from the early 17th century which were renovated in the summer of 2018. The house has a wealth of period features and has been decorated in antique colours and floral patterns giving it a rustic, vintage feel.
The garden room (below) is a beautiful en suite room with large windows and views over the garden and lake. It is furnished with a Kingsize bed, dressing table, full length mirror and tea and coffee making facilities
The Wisteria room (below) has a double bed
The Flying room (below) has two sofa beds and views over the garden from a bay window
The Secret Room (below) is a super king / twin bed room with views over the courtyard
Additional bath and wash rooms are on the first floors
Garden (below)
The delightful cottage-style garden, viewed here from the Garden Room, is available for the exclusive use of guests in the historic house accommodation..
Twin and dormitory bedrooms for other guests
Most of the additional bedrooms are hostel style with bunk beds, but there are also some twin and single rooms. All rooms are in good decorative order, with clean and modernised toilets and washing facilities. All bedding is provided. The following bedrooms and dormitories are available:
The cottage (8 people)
The cottage provides two extra bedrooms and a bathroom with disabled access.
- Cottage room 1, with 3 bunk beds
- Cottage room 2, with 2 single beds
The Mill Building (2 people)
In addition to the Mill lounge and Mill room upstairs in this building, there is one bedroom:
- Twin en suite bedroom with disabled access to the garden and a wet room
The Stables (15 people)
Just on the other side of the courtyard from the Mill building, these former stables now house dormitory rooms:
- Stable 1 – 1 single bed
- Stable 2 – 2 bunk beds
- Stable 3 – 5 bunk beds
The Fruit Store (12 people)
Adjoining the stables, the former fruit store comprises two further rooms:
- Fruit store 1 – 2 single beds
- Fruit store 2 – 5 bunk beds
Accommodation in Fontmell Magna village
Bed and breakfast accommodation is also available within walking distance from Springhead, at the Fontmell pub and elsewhere in the village of Fontmell Magna.
