Historic house accommodation

 Springhead House is available for rental, offering spacious and comfortable accommodation for family groups, wedding guests and other visitors.

Accommodation for up to ten people is available in the historic Springhead House.  This listed building is made up of a range of thatched cottages (to the right of the photograph above) dating from the early 17th century.  The house has a wealth of period features and has been decorated in antique colours and floral patterns giving it a rustic, vintage feel.

There are three super king/twin bedrooms on the first floor, and additional people can be accommodated in a fourth room on the first floor which has two double sofa beds. Towels and linen are provided. As well as the en suite shower room, there is a separate toilet and shower room on the first floor (there are no toilet or washing facilities on the ground floor).

The garden bedroom (below) is a beautiful en suite room with large windows and views over the garden and lake. It is furnished with a super king bed, sofa and full length mirror.  It can also be made up as twin single beds if preferred.

The Wisteria room (below) can be made up as two singles or one super king bed

The Flying room (below)  has two double sofa beds and views over the garden from a bay window

The Secret Room (below) is a super king / twin bed room with views over the courtyard

Additional bath and wash rooms are on the first floor

The delightful cottage-style garden, viewed here from the Garden Room, is available for guests in the historic house accommodation..

Guests in Springhead House will also have access to two further rooms on the ground floor – the music room /library (pictured below) and The Snug (no photo). 

Visitors have access to Springhead’s gardens and grounds.

Rental costs
The historic house accommodation can be rented from £800 a weekend. Day hire, week and mid-week accommodation is also available. Please contact us to discuss availability and prices.
