“Earth, Fire, Water, Spring” – 5th-11th February 2024

John Austin-Williams, Imogen Bittner, Mala Hassett, June Lisle and Helen Simpson present an eclectic exhibition to celebrate and coincide with the first signs of Spring and the snowdrops at Springhead.

This exhibition brings together five members of the Dorset Salon  (Dorset Visual Arts). Very different artists working in a variety of media; but whose work reflects the dynamic sensations found in music. Among the colours, forms and marks in their work lie the echoes of a melody, a beat, or as they call themselves “Visual Rhythm”.

You are invited to attend a free Concert in the Gallery on Sunday 11th Feb at 2pm. The concert will feature a newly composed string quartet by Joy Ingle, inspired by the artwork on display. The program will also include pieces by Haydn and Bach.

Open 10am – 4pm. Free entry to exhibition, concert and garden.

Donations appreciated.
