With the restrictions imposed as a result of Covid-19, 2020 has been a very challenging year for the Springhead Trust. However, we have been busy preparing for the return of our visitors, by improving our facilities, buildings and grounds, and improving the resilience of our organisation to ensure our future financial viability.
We have also had some unexpected achievements, and found alternative ways to support those in need, such as hosting carers of vulnerable adults who have come to Springhead for safe respite and to quarantine between live-in posts. And while residential school visits and indoor arts events haven’t been able to take place, some socially distanced daytime events have taken place, such as a visit from children at the local primary school, St Andrews (pictured).
